Titanic Swede powerpoint

TITANIC

Planning                                                                                                                                                                    We searched for Titanic swedes on YouTube and these are the ones we found: A Titanic Swede – YouTube, TITANIC SWEDE – YouTube and Titanic Sweded – YouTube. We thought that all used great camera angles which made it more interesting to watch. They gave us an idea  of how our swede could be more entertaining. Secondly,  we searched for the Titanic  script however, the language used was sophisticated and we wanted our swede to be funny and modern. At the beginning we wrote the directions, dialogue and  camera shots to be used however they were changed as we went along with the filming.
Props                                                                                                                                                                                 The props we used were: ID card (necklace), jewel case, scarf, snapback, hoodie and a moustache.
                                                                                                                                      Actresses
Andreia – Cal
Kellie – Rose
Abida – Jack
   Technologies
Camera, computer to edit (final cut), clip grab.

Filming                                                                                                                                                                           Our swede had no budget! We  used City & Islington’s equipment  and location to film. We filmed inside the college and outdoors since they all met our requirements.
Editing
Editing was not as complicated as we all thought it would be. It was very stressful because some scenes were very long which took a long time to edit.
Distribution
The release of our swede was by simultaneous release since the swede was available straight after the editing was finished as you posted it on YouTube. This internet release is also downloadable so that the audiences can watch it whenever and wherever they like.

Skyfall homework

Sky had a channel specifically for James Bond movies to celebrate it's 50th anniversary and the upcoming movie '007'.

Waiters were preparing the tables and everything else to make it a splendid event.

The guests finally arrived at around 22:00.

The dragon's head was used in the making of 007.

The famous James Bond car.

My auntie’s friend worked at the after party at Tate Modern. And took these photos, she was forbidden to take photos with Daniel Craig though. However, she met other celebrities and even took a photo with Emelie Sande!

The film was made by Sam Mendes.

TITANIC SWEDE

I think that overall this swede is very good, a lot of time and effort was clearly put in. I think the props are great as well as the acting. However, the timing is very long.

Film industry h/w

Film industry -

Production

1)Film concept-  The very first thing to do is to  come up with as many ideas as you can.

2)Writing Your Script-  Write down a detailed story, setting, and dialogue. However, do still try and write down ideas and share with people you truly trust. And be able to take criticism well; since it will improve your script.

3)Drawing Storyboards for your film-  Storyboards:  A sequence of drawings, typically with some directions and dialogue, representing the shots planned for a movie or television production.” Do rough sketches, created by an illustrator to communicate the main changes of action or plot in a scene.

4)Funding for your Film- Send the storyboards  off to certain companies to try and get them to  finance your film. With this, you will eventually be able to hire professional equipment or people. To make the storyboards appear professional, get an illustrator to draw some of your key storyboards.

5)How to find Cast & Crew for your film- Audition people and hire people that are most suited to the role. Screens tests are common. For crew members (e.g. DOP or Producer), ask them for a breakdown of work they have done. It will be useful because then you would have an idea of their capacity.
6)Looking for Locations- Filming at a place not constructed specifically for the production is said to be 'on location'. This is usually outdoors, at a well-known location, or a real place which meet your requirements. Travel around to as many as possible to see which one’s best and to vary locations. Locations require plenty of space for cast and crew, as well as easy accessibility for all the camera/sound & lighting equipment. Unless you have a petrol generator, you will want to limit outdoor filming as much as possible. If you are running the camera off batteries you only have a certain amount of power to get the shots you need. This often leads to shots being rushed or not finished properly, which brings down the overall quality of the work.
7)Preparing a Shooting Script- Contains scenes placed in order of filming, technical notes and/or drawings. A shooting script is essentially a script that breaks the film into scenes, placed in sequence as they are to be filmed on set/location.  These can include any sketches or photographs of locations, include ideas you may wish to film in as well as scene breakdowns, types of shot (e.g. A tracking shot) and technical drawings.

8)Organising a Schedule- This is basically means a schedule for shooting the film. You will need to make sure all your cast and crew are available on the days you want to shoot. If one person can’t make it, then you will need to re-organise the whole day again.

9)Writing and Distributing Call Sheets-  A call sheet is a listing of which cast members should arrive for make-up, what time actors/crew are due on set, what scenes they are in and what special requirements (if any) are needed.

10)Equipment for filming-  Depending on your budget, you have different options available to you.

Titanic

The story is a very well known one. The director, James Cameron, dressed up the tale of the largest ocean-liner sinking on the maiden voyage with a love story, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. A high society girl falls in love with a decent, honest man. The narrative is driven byour knowledge that she has survived the sinking, but not him. Celine Dion sang the title track that was important for moments of tension. Shots of the film were put into a video for the single’s release. The had fantastic special effects, costumes and lighting. The ‘effect’ of amassive ocean-liner sinking was magnificent. Titanic was a massive international success. Reports during its making suggested it was way over budget.

Distribution

1)Someone has an idea for a movie.
2)They create an outline and use it to promote it.
3) A studio or independent investor or business decides to purchase rights to the film.
4)Cast and crew are hired to make the film (screenwriter, producer, director, cast, crew).
5)The film is completed and sent to the investor.
6)The investor makes a licensing agreement with a distribution company.
7)The distribution company determines how many copies (prints) of the film to make.
8)The distribution company shows the movie (screening) to prospective buyers representing the cinema.
9)The buyers negotiate with the distribution company on which movies they wish to lease and the terms of the lease agreement.
10)The prints are sent to the cinemas a few days before the opening day.
11)The cinemas shows the movie for a specified number of weeks (engagement).
12)You buy a ticket and watch the movie.
13)At the end of the engagement, the cinema sends the print back to the distribution company and makes payment on the lease agreement.

Marketing

Marketing is vital to compensate the money directors paid for the construction of the film.  Also, attracting more audiences means that critics will definitely give positive and negative feedback. There are many different types of marketing such as:
account-based marketing — Publicity to people’s accounts.
affiliate marketing — paying affiliates to send customers to your website/business.
buzz marketing — getting people to talk about your stuff, similar to viral.
contextual marketing — delivering relevant, optimal messages/offers, esp. Online.
digital marketing — marketing through digital channels, primarily the Internet.
direct marketing — marketing directly to audience, often without TV, radio, or print ads.
Facebook marketing — marketing on and through Facebook.
Internet marketing — synonymous with online marketing and web marketing.
The cinema industry categorises audiences in many different ways but often relies on an age-related scheme which closely follows the film certification categories (U, PG,12, 15, 18).

 Exhibition

How do audiences get to see films?
Audiences get to see films through the cinema, youtube, downloading online, itunes, Lovefilm, illegal online websites, DVD’s, blu-ray rentals, T.V... Etc
